Known issues in Beta Preview
Casambi Pro Beta Preview for Windows
- Having more than one instance of the Casambi Pro application open in Windows simultaneously can cause project-saving issues and thus data loss.
- If the Casambi Pro tool has instability problems or crashes, please restart the application and/or computer and alert us via the Feedback button.
- On the layouts, space and group labels are not yet movable, so they can sometimes overlap each other or other contents, or they may be located far away from the object.
- There is no confirmation message yet when deleting a project. Thus, when the delete button is pressed on the project list, project will be deleted immediately if it does not have paired devices.
- There are no help or guidance features yet in Casambi Pro.
- There may be missing localised texts in the user interface
Casambi Pro Beta Preview for iPad and iPhone
- If Pro networks are modified in any way outside of Casambi Pro (e.g. with the Casambi Utility App), the modifications will not be reflected in the Casambi Pro project and will be overwritten the next time the network is updated with Casambi Pro.
- Pairing or unpairing devices at a fast pace may cause failures in the pairing/unpairing process.
- Sometimes pairing/unpairing is slow for unknown reasons.
- If the Casambi Pro tool has instability problems or crashes, please sign out of the app and then sign in again. You can also try restarting the application.
- Item labels are not yet movable, so they can sometimes overlap with each other. Using the zoom scaling option in the application’s settings may help.
- If luminaires are very close to each other, it may be difficult to select them from the layout view. However, the elements can always be selected from the Project Explorer pane on the left side of the screen.
- The project list layout breaks in iPad Mini when the application is used in portrait mode.
- On iPads with small screen size (like iPad Mini), the user interface layout may have some errors.
- There are no help or guidance features yet in Casambi Pro.
- There may be some lately added control features which can be set in the app but the network does not react to them. This is due to missing implementation on the network side. These will be fixed in coming upgrades.
- The user interface has not been optimized yet on the iPhone. Thus, some functionalities give poor use experience.
