A cassette with four self-reversing buttons requires a dedicated 230V AC power supply for connection via its gland, along with wall mounting. It’s fully programmable within the Casambi system and appears in the network as four switches with illuminated buttons.

The buttons can be configured in various ways to visually signal active lighting scenes. Within the Casambi system, the following features are available:

• Synchronized Status: All cassettes in a single area can be set to display the same active status, which is ideal for spaces with multiple entry points.
• Basic Control: Activate or deactivate a single luminaire, a scene, or a group of luminaires, with an illuminated button signaling the current status.
• Dimming Deactivation: The ability to dim an active scene can be disabled, which helps maintain compliance with lighting standards.
• Limited Functionality: Buttons can be restricted to scene activation only, allowing other scenes to be assigned to different buttons.
• Automated Operation: The system can be configured for automatic operation based on schedules or sensor input.
• Timed Scenes: Activate a timed scene where the luminaire power level adjusts based on the activation time, which is useful for tasks like manual work, cleaning, or night lighting.

In the Casambi app, the product is displayed as a single control point. All functions are accessible through the dedicated Casambi APP software, available for download on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
