Deves Insurance in Bangkok uses Casambi wireless lighting control to manage its façade lighting across 107 nodes. Three preset scenes are scheduled throughout the night, highlighting the building’s historic character while keeping the lighting simple to manage.
Located on Ratchadamnoen Klang Road in Bangkok, Deves Insurance occupies a historic building with an industrial-inspired architectural character. After dark, façade lighting brings out the building’s distinctive features, giving it a clear presence along the street while preserving the character of the original structure.
The lighting is carefully balanced to highlight the architecture without making the façade feel overly bright. Light draws attention to the building’s form and details, creating a contemporary nighttime appearance that remains true to its original character.
The lighting design by APLD Lighting uses architectural luminaires from Aris Lighting to achieve this effect. Carefully positioned light defines the façade and brings its features into focus without overpowering the building.
Casambi wireless lighting control manages the installation across 107 nodes, with three preset scenes scheduled for different periods throughout the night. Commissioned by Triple S Technology, the system allows the lighting to change automatically according to the schedule, keeping the façade lighting straightforward to manage while maintaining the intended look after dark.
At Deves Insurance, lighting gives the building a renewed presence at night without taking away from its history. With Casambi managing the scheduled scenes, the façade can remain well illuminated and easy to manage as the evening progresses.
