At Imperial Treasure Huaiyang Cuisine in ION Orchard, lighting plays a central role in shaping the dining experience. Every fixture, every glow, is carefully curated to complement the precision and artistry of Huaiyang cuisine, guiding the eye to the textures, colors, and presentation of each dish while creating a sense of warmth and intimacy.
The design embraces a “less is more” philosophy. Cove lighting defines the restaurant’s architectural lines without drawing attention, creating a gentle ambient glow throughout the space. Downlights are positioned with precision, offering clean accents that highlight the table setting and ingredients without producing glare. Decorative fixtures are selected for warmth rather than statement, contributing to a cohesive, relaxed atmosphere.
Casambi’s wireless lighting system sits at the heart of this seamless experience. Smart scene switches give staff intuitive control over multiple zones, allowing them to adjust the lighting effortlessly to suit lunch service, evening dinners, or private events. Time-based automation ensures that the mood evolves naturally throughout the day, bright and clear for midday meals, gently transitioning to softer, more intimate tones as evening falls. The flexibility of Casambi allows for quick adjustments for seasonal menus, special events, or VIP gatherings, all without disrupting service or the overall atmosphere.
