In July 2024, Darkoo celebrated its 15th anniversary by inaugurating its new headquarters in Optics Valley CTR, Zhongshan—the heart of the Greater Bay Area. The building showcases Darkoo’s commitment to innovation, featuring Casambi lighting control throughout its office spaces, elevating the lighting experience for employees and visitors to Darkoo Headquarters.

Design Goal

In a strategic move to attract top talent and enhance workplace productivity, Darkoo’s lighting designer opted for Casambi’s cutting-edge control system. This decision, born from extensive consultations with end-users and industry-leading lighting suppliers, aimed to create an inspiring and dynamic work environment.

The Casambi system’s versatility unlocked a new realm of lighting possibilities, featuring:

• Tunable white lighting for optimal visual comfort
• RGBW color changes to set the perfect mood
• Timed settings for improved work-life balance

Leveraging these advanced capabilities, the designer crafted bespoke lighting scenes for various areas throughout the office. From the grand meeting room to individual workspaces, and from executive offices to common areas, each space received a tailored lighting solution. The result? A workplace that not only impresses but also enhances the daily experience of employees and visitors alike, setting a new standard in office illumination.
