As the sun sets over Manila Bay, the atmosphere at Solaire Resort Entertainment City’s Pool Bar & Grill changes with it. Casambi wireless control and eldoLED flicker-free dimming allow the lighting to ease gently from bright afternoons into warm, intimate evenings, keeping the transition almost unnoticeable for guests enjoying the poolside.
There is a point in the evening at Solaire Resort Entertainment City when the atmosphere around the pool begins to change. The afternoon light softens, the sun drops towards Manila Bay, and warmer colours begin to settle across the water. For guests at the Pool Bar & Grill, watching that transition is naturally part of the experience.
During the day, the poolside is bright and open, with plenty of natural light. As sunset approaches, the lighting gradually starts to take over. There is no sudden change in brightness. Instead, the space slowly becomes warmer and more intimate as the evening unfolds.
Casambi wireless lighting control works together with eldoLED flicker-free dimming drivers to make that transition smooth. Lighting levels can be adjusted gradually as daylight fades, avoiding noticeable jumps in brightness and keeping the atmosphere comfortable around the pool.
Once the sun goes down, warm, carefully controlled lighting settles around the tables, cabanas, and bar. The aim is not to overpower the setting, but to give guests enough light to dine, have a drink, and enjoy the space while keeping the view across Manila Bay very much part of the evening.
Different lighting scenes can be recalled easily depending on the time of day and how the poolside is being used. Casambi gives the hotel team the flexibility to make adjustments when needed, while eldoLED drivers provide smooth, flicker-free dimming as lighting levels move between scenes.
The best transition is one guests barely notice. The sun disappears over Manila Bay, the lights gradually settle in, and the evening simply carries on. By the time dinner is underway, the poolside feels warmer and more intimate, without there ever being an obvious moment when day became night.
