Bridge+ at Geneo is a flexible, future-ready workspace within Singapore Science Park 1, designed to bring together startups, enterprises, and science-led organisations in a collaborative campus environment. The space functions as both a workplace and community hub, with lighting by SWITCH carefully designed to support a wide range of activities, from focused work to events, through adaptable, layered illumination. Powered by Casambi wireless controls, the lighting system enables seamless, real-time adjustments, ensuring the environment can easily evolve with changing needs and always feel right for its users.
Bridge+ at Geneo is part of The Work Project’s vision to create flexible, future-ready workspaces within Singapore Science Park 1. Set within the wider Geneo development, the space brings together research, innovation, and enterprise under one connected campus, designed to encourage collaboration between startups, established companies, and science-led organisations.
More than just a coworking environment, Bridge+ is designed as a community hub. It supports everything from focused daily work to large-scale events, workshops, and networking sessions. The lighting needed to reflect this same flexibility, supporting both productivity and atmosphere as the space shifts between different modes throughout the day.
Lighting design by SWITCH brings clarity and warmth to the interiors while allowing each zone to feel distinct yet connected. Meeting rooms, collaborative areas, event spaces, and quiet work zones all require different lighting moods, from bright task-focused settings to softer, more relaxed environments for gatherings and presentations. A carefully layered lighting approach ensures the space always feels balanced, comfortable, and adaptable.
Casambi wireless control was selected to give the client complete flexibility without adding complexity. With Casambi modules and Xpress switches deployed across the project, staff can easily adjust lighting scenes, dim levels, or switch between presets depending on the activity in each space. Meeting rooms can shift from presentation mode to workshop mode in seconds, while event spaces can be transformed instantly for different types of gatherings.
The wireless system also makes the space easier to manage and adapt over time, supporting future changes as the workplace evolves. It reduces reliance on fixed control infrastructure and allows the lighting to move in step with the needs of the people using it.
