Part facial clinic, part private art collection, Cissie Building brings wellness and creativity together under one roof. Casambi wireless control connects lighting across the entire building, from tunable white and RGBW lighting in the clinics and public spaces to DMX-controlled scenes in the private gallery, allowing each area to have its own atmosphere while remaining part of one connected experience.
Cissie Building in Indonesia is not what you might expect from a facial clinic. Part wellness destination, part private art collection, the building brings beauty, health, and art together in a space that feels closer to a gallery or sanctuary than a conventional clinic.
That mix gives lighting an interesting role. It needs to create a sense of comfort in the clinic, give artworks the attention they deserve in the gallery, bring energy to the function halls, and still contribute to the identity of the building from the outside. Rather than treating these areas separately, the entire building is connected through Casambi wireless lighting control.
In the clinic spaces, tunable white lighting allows the atmosphere to move between clearer, more functional illumination and warmer, more comfortable settings. RGBW lighting adds another layer of flexibility across the interiors, giving different areas their own character while keeping the experience connected as visitors move through the building.
The private art gallery takes a more considered approach. Here, lighting becomes part of how the collection is viewed and experienced. DMX-controlled lighting allows scenes to be carefully shaped around individual works and exhibitions, bringing out colour, texture, and detail without distracting from the art itself.
The experience continues through the lobby, function halls, and façade. Each calls for something different, from creating a strong first impression to adapting the atmosphere for gatherings and giving the building a distinctive presence after dark.
Casambi provides a single wireless control platform across the building. CBU-PWM4 controllers support the RGBW and tunable white lighting, while DMX integration provides the additional control needed within the private gallery. Despite the variety of spaces and lighting types, everything can be managed as part of the same Casambi network.
There is an unexpected quality to Cissie Building. You might arrive for a treatment and find yourself surrounded by art, or move from a conversation about health into a gallery filled with carefully illuminated pieces. Lighting helps those very different experiences sit comfortably together, making the building feel less like a clinic and more like a place to spend time, look around, and simply enjoy being in.
