Located in the picturesque Deqing district, this luxury hotel offers a tranquil retreat amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Mohkan Shan Mountain. The lighting here feels like part of the architecture itself. It doesn’t call attention to itself, but works quietly with the materials, proportions, and history of the hotel, creating an atmosphere that is calm, immersive, and timeless.
Occhio and L&S fixtures are chosen with care. Occhio’s clean lines and precise optics highlight stone walls, wooden beams, and vintage furnishings, adding depth without distraction. L&S lamps bring warmth and character, softening French arches, attic corners, and intimate spaces with a glow that feels both natural and inviting.
The Casambi wireless system connects over 220 nodes across the hotel, making lighting effortless and responsive. From the gentle welcoming brightness in the lobby to the soft warmth by the fireplace in private villas, and the flexible dining light in the tea garden restaurant that shifts with seasonal menus, everything can be adjusted with a simple touch. Scenes change smoothly, never abrupt, supporting the mood of each space and the rhythm of the day.
