Ryota Robatayaki & Izakaya in Jakarta combines traditional Japanese design elements with a modern dining atmosphere, using layered materials and textures to create a refined yet inviting space. Casambi’s wireless lighting system enhances this environment with flexible, automated scenes that shift seamlessly from warm daytime tones to vibrant evening settings. The lighting highlights architectural details and allows staff to easily adjust the ambiance, ensuring a cohesive and engaging dining experience throughout the day.
Ryota Robatayaki & Izakaya in Jakarta blends traditional Japanese character with a contemporary dining energy. The interior layers rustic timber, handcrafted lanterns, and mosaic textures to create a space that feels both familiar and refined. Within this environment, lighting becomes the key element that ties everything together, guiding mood, shaping atmosphere, and elevating the dining experience from day to night.
To support this dynamic setting, Ryota uses a Casambi Bluetooth lighting control system. The wireless platform allows the restaurant to shift seamlessly between different lighting moods: a warm glow for quiet lunches, richer tones that highlight textures for early evening dining, and vibrant, energetic scenes for the later hours. These changes happen through preset scenes and scheduled automation, ensuring the ambiance always feels intentional and effortless.
Casambi’s flexibility also supports the restaurant’s design details. Soft highlights enrich the natural grain of the wood, lanterns emit a gentle radiance that anchors each seating zone, and accent lighting draws subtle attention to bar displays and robata counters. Everything works in harmony, creating depth without overwhelming the aesthetic.
For the staff, control is simple and intuitive. Adjustments can be made quickly through the Casambi app, allowing the team to refine brightness, shift scenes, and respond to special events without interrupting service or guest experience.
