BOHO Décor’s head office in Ho Chi Minh City combines a colourful, flexible workspace with Unios lighting and Casambi wireless control. Adjustable lighting helps support different activities throughout the day, from focused work to collaboration in the central communal area.
A creative office should do more than give people a desk to work at. At BOHO Décor’s head office in Ho Chi Minh City, the space is designed to bring people together, encourage new ideas and give different kinds of work their own place.
Designed by BOHO Décor, the 780 m² office is organised around a central area called The Core. This is where the reception, communal spaces and display areas come together. Bright blocks of colour help distinguish different functions, while meeting rooms, curved furniture and greenery add variety to the open-plan layout. Workstations sit around The Core, giving employees a place to focus while keeping shared activities close by.
Lighting helps make the office work throughout the day. Unios luminaires provide the main lighting, with DJCoalition handling the lighting design. Rather than keeping the brightness the same from morning to evening, the system can adjust to the surrounding light and support changes in the body’s natural daily rhythm.
Casambi wireless lighting control makes this possible, giving the team flexibility to adjust light levels and manage different areas of the office. Lighting can respond to changing daylight, while settings can be tailored to suit different activities, whether people are working at their desks, meeting colleagues or spending time in the shared spaces.
The idea is to make the office feel comfortable to work in, not just look good in photographs. Different areas have different needs, and the lighting can adapt without adding complexity to the space. Wireless control also helps keep the installation flexible as the office evolves.
At BOHO Décor, the workspace is built around the way people work together and on their own. The colourful communal areas bring energy to the day, while the workstations offer room to concentrate. With Casambi and Unios lighting working together, the light can change along with the space and the people using it.
